Meet Andy: Heart, Heritage, and Hope for Our Pets

Andy is a proud Latina, born and raised in Uruguay, whose life has always been connected to animals—between horses and the beauty of nature, her love for all creatures runs deep. Over 25 years ago, she arrived in the United States, grateful for the opportunities this country has given her, and today she is a proud American citizen, living her dreams and raising a beautiful family.

Over fifteen years ago, Andy began her journey in pet care, offering baths, grooming, and haircuts. But also, her calling is rescuing dogs in need. She dedicates her time, energy, and resources to saving stray and abandoned dogs—collaborating with local shelters, rescuing pups, nursing them back to health, ensuring they are vaccinated and safe, and then finding them loving homes. Andy personally follows up with each adopted dog, calling and checking in to make sure they are happy and well cared for in their new families.

Andy is not only a devoted mom and wife, but also the heart and soul behind a small local business that offers truly personalized care for every pet. Unlike the big corporate chains, Andy knows each dog by name and treats them as family, making sure every pet receives the individual attention they deserve.

For years, Andy worked out of her car and garage, driving hundreds of miles in all kinds of weather to rescue animals—often paying for their treatment out of her own pocket. Now, she is excited to open the doors of her neighborhood shop, where she can continue to serve her community with her signature warmth, dedication, and unmistakable accent.
